It all started at a party with friends. We tasted a delicious champagne. I found out he was from a small producer. I gave my number to the young lady who had brought it to send me the contact. I was about 1 chance in 8000 10 it does so ... But miracle, that person has kept his word and sent me a text message a few days later, with all the information.
This is where the idea has its merry way: why not organize a weekend champagne tasting? A good way to combine business with pleasure. And thus serve as a good champagne wine of honor, without breaking the bank (between 12 and 15 euros a bottle).
But how does one go a few days in the Marne when you have a car? One, but we can also count on friends, lovers of champagne and weekend outside the Paris region can rent. You remember the friend decoder vin who had accompanied me to my first fittings wedding dress? Well yes, it is to her that I proposed to make this little trip to four (us and our men). We then set a date and spotted a hotel near Epernay.
The weekend before our trip, I had to call to make an appointment tastings. Some of the producers were unfortunately not available, due to living in other regions. But eventually, we had three appointments on Saturdays and Sundays.
After a few hours drive, we arrive in the small village of the first producer, who is none other than the one discovered in the evening with friends. We were received by the companion of the producer in their living room and taste the famous champagne. No doubt, this is the same (the same year), always decoder vin to our liking. The atmosphere is very relaxed, it's really nice. We buy a case of 6 bottles so we love this champagne.
Chain is a big word, because decoder vin the second showed us all his production, explaining very interesting decoder vin details about the manufacturing process. We then move to the tasting, we necessarily compare the first tasted champagne and only buy two bottles, since we are convinced that this will not be the champagne of our marriage.
The third producer is also charming, but we enjoy the champagne has a marzipan flavor. This is excellent, and it would go perfectly to accompany dessert. Now we want to choose a champagne wine of honor. We also buy two bottles and we finally resting at our hotel.
The next day we put that! Only one producer in the late morning, decoder vin phew! It's not that it's difficult to taste champagne, quite the contrary. It's just that the car of my friend starts to be charged, as they too bought some souvenir bottles.
We enjoy a very good brut champagne again. We order a new 6 bottles because we hesitate between the champagne and then the first weekend for the wine of honor.
After our lunch, we end up an unexpected visit, this time a big brand. We visit the long corridors of the cellar in small electric trains and an audio guide. It's less authentic, more commercial, but interesting. We end the tour (fee) with a glass of champagne this great name ... we find worse than those we have enjoyed from the producers.
We go in Ile-de-France, the trunk full of champagnes. We are going to offer, and especially in bringing our respective parents, for their views on what we have chosen: the first!
I am 33 years old and I got married in July 2013 in the east of France, a region where we come from. We live together in the Paris area for 4 years and have organized our wedding away on the theme of travel. We got married religiously before a hundred relatives, also invited to the meal. For the decoration, our passion colors were red and white.
